This notice explains what personal information Premier Plumbing collects about you, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet our obligations under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies. We do not store anything on your device, we do not use analytics, and there are no advertising or social media tracking pixels anywhere on the site. That is why you have not been asked to accept any cookies — there are none to accept.

Our body and display typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare. When you visit a page, your browser fetches the font files from their servers, which means those services see your IP address. Neither service uses the connection to track you, and neither sets a cookie. Google's font privacy policy is at developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us or request a quote

If you call, email, message us or fill in the enquiry form on this site, we collect the details you give us — typically your name, phone number, email address, postcode and a description of the work you need.

We use this to reply to you, to quote for the work, to arrange a visit and to carry out the job. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and once work is agreed, performance of that contract.

Website hosting

Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the site and protect it from attack. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and delivers enquiry form submissions. Data is held in their network.
• Apex West Marketing — built this website and may receive a copy of enquiry form submissions.
• Google — we use Gmail for email, so correspondence is stored there.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: deleted within 12 months.
• Records of completed jobs and invoices: 6 years, which matches the usual period for tax records and contract claims.

After that we delete it or render it anonymous.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• ask us to delete information, where we have no ongoing need for it;
• ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it;
• ask for your information in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
